Megono Rice
Ingredients Rice:
1 kg of white rice
Megono vegetable Ingridient :
400 gr young jackfruit, boiled and roughly chopped, or pestle rough
1 cm galangal crushed
200 g of coconut and a half old, rough scar
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoons rebon, brewed
Ingredients spice puree:
2 cloves of garlic
4 red onions
2 cm kencur
5 lime leaves
1 teaspoon shrimp paste, roasted
3 pieces of red chili sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar comb
1 tea spoon of salt
Mengono rice complementary materials:
4 hard-boiled eggs
How to make rice megono:
To make vegetable megono: stir the coconut that has been in Arut along with herbs that have been in puree, bay leaves, rebon and ginger and stir well. After the steam for 20 minutes in a steamer until cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
Mix well with young jackfruit steamed coconut, which has been boiled, and mix well.
To serve: prepare a serving dish, then governance rice, vegetables megono plus with hard-boiled eggs peeled and split in two. serve.
